Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony
Please join us for our BIG Reveal Vegas Style at our Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony March 8th at Newberry Hall. The Ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m and will feature dinner, an awards ceremony honoring our top contributors and volunteers, as well as the reveal of our total amount of money raised during the 2011 campaign! We are very excited to announce that we will have a Grand Opening of the new facilities for the Aiken County Family Y on January 14th, 2012!
Grand Opening Celebration!
Don’t miss the Family Y’s grand opening celebration on January 14th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at their new location, 621 Trolley Line Road. The event will feature a ribbon cutting at 11:30 a.m., food, entertainment, and a tour of the facility!

United Way receives nearly $850,000 from Savannah River Site
Savannah River Site employees raised nearly $850,000 for United Way of Aiken County’s 2011 campaign! The SRS campaign, led by Linda Bridgmon of Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, was once again a huge success! Many thanks to all of the employees who helped to make this campaign so successful. United Way of Aiken County hosts Reception for Young Philanthropists
United Way of Aiken County will hold a reception from 5-7 p.m. this evening at Soiree for their Young Philanthropists Society. The Young Philanthropists Society is new to the organization. The group is made up of individuals between the ages of 21 and 39 that contribute $240 or more annually to United Way of Aiken County. The reception tonight is to thank these individuals for their contributions and to encourage them to also become involved in United Way through other avenues such as advocating and volunteering.
